Adults and cucpakes

I have heard over and over that gourmet cupcakes are such a great adult treat. At first I didn't quite get why people were saying this. Then I realized that usually cupcakes are eaten at a child's birthday party or event. Even though cupcakes make you think of birthday treats for kids, they are now becoming a treat for people of all ages to delight themselves in. One of the great things when eating it, is that it can trigger some great childhood memories and it takes you you back to a place of having fun, living care free, and enjoying life.
